One of the most challenging recovery we've ever done
A very tired looking settee
We used a moddern highly crushed velvet, re-padded all the back & seat cushions

Carefully stripping off the old cover, taking out all the old staples with a mallet, pliyers & a staple lifter. A painstaking job.

Apparently this piece dates from the turn of the century & has traveled over to France.
Horrible old green velvet fabric, but we discovered at least two other fabrics underneath!
